We live on the farm with Chris and Sheila Willis (Phils’ parents) and Rosie, Sienna and Heidi our children. Situated on the border of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Tees Valley, Snow Hall Farm Cottages provide an exit from urban life and an entry into rural peace and tranquillity.

Soak up the spectacular views of Roseberry Topping whilst enjoying the delightful wildlife the farm has to offer stretching out in front of your door! Snow Hall Farm is an outdoor delight, you can walk on the public footpaths that cross the farm seeking out the many birds and other wildlife that live on the farm including barn owls, deer, foxes, otters and badgers.

Philip who is 3rd generation is now working in partnership alongside his father Chris, they run a mixed farm with 150 beef cattle, 100 breeding sheep and work 232 acres of arable and grassland. Crops grown on the farm are winter wheat, winter barley, spring oats and spring beans. So as you can imagine they are very busy throughout the year, in early January you will see new born lambs starting to arrive, baby calves are purchased continually which are kept until 20 months of age at which point they are sold at the local auction mart as store beast.

Due to this you can imagine there are a lot of hungry mouths to feed on the farm, you will hear both the sheep and cows at feed times allowing you to soak up the true farmyard experience.
